Here, pictured above, We have Tim of 321 kiteboarding taking out a little tike for a lesson.
I could feel the winds direction constantly changing. I know it was frustrating for the kiters, I'd watch many of them come in to do a stunt and suddenly the wind is gone. Sometimes at best they could only do little stunts. But that didn't stop them from trying.
Oh and to paraphrase Ghostbusters, Don't cross the lines! One kiter spent about 1/2 an hour trying to get his kite back together. The other kiter did try his best to avoid the incident, but accidents do happen. I wish I had taken pictures, but it was a mess. But in the end, he was finally able to get up and do some foiling. During stressful times like that, I probably would have been cursing just as much.
Here are some of the foilers today in action
From what I saw today, it looks like this guy wins the highest jump today, that is of those who I caught on film.
A few honorable mentions
Now if only the board didn't try to make it's own signature move.
It kinda looks like Good Breeze has a new instructor. Granted, I have only been taking pics here for 2 months, but I don't recognize him.
He is just a friend I haven't met yet. All in due time.
I took over 300 pics today, If you do not see all the ones you are hoping for, let me know and I'll do my best to get them to you. Sometimes the camera decides to focus on a wave that photobombed you, or I was a little slow tracking your jump and might have cut off your head, or zoomed in too much, those get tossed right away.
Remember, there is truly only one person you are competing against and that is yourself. Keep trying your best, The pro's started out just like you are, at the beginning. Keep at it an you will be greater than you were before.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the pictures at JeffreyTPhotography.
